The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I got this beauty on the streets of Manitou Springs, Colorado. My husband had broken my macro lens the day before, and we replaced it at a wonderful place called Mike's Camera in Colorado Springs with a 100mm Canon. I was having a hard time making the transition. When I found this I stood there until I figured out how to make the change!
