The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Twice this last year I got to stand in a herd of elk. We were in the Rockies during the mating season - or, as they call it, The Rut. The male elk bugling is very high pitched and wheezy. Not at all what I expected from such a large animal.
